Not funny. It has the mechanics of humour but doesn't engage the audience's emotions enough. That's what separates funny jokes and non-funny jokes, I think.

Probably the timing all wrong. Yet if another comic did it like maybe david letterman for eg it would have a better effect. US has a lot of subtle comics.
