Singapore’s High Commissioner to Malaysia, Ong Keng Yong, has refuted the points on ministerial pay made by a veteran Singaporean journalist in a Malaysian English news daily.

In a letter dated Monday to Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai, group chief editor of The Star, the commissioner gave a response to the opinion piece “PAP mood turns sour over pay cuts” written by Seah Chiang Nee and published by the paper on 7 January.<

Is there any need to take Seah Chiang Nee so serious to draw a response from Singaapore High Commissioner to Malaysia. Certainly this is not a diplomatic issue between two countries for the High Commissioner to be involved in. Mr Seah's opinion piece is quite entertaining for such a serious subject good only to be taken for a pinch of salt. There is no need to get so work up.

So what did the Malaysian reporter do? Did he offer to post a letter of apology! Will he be receiving a law suit soon? Will he have CIDs at his doorstep at 2am in the morning? Oh i forgot, CIDogs can only bark in here!
