Dear Fire Brigade,

I wish to inform you that due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, more foreign painters are staying in Singapore and they have no regard for public safety.

These painters operate like sole-proprietors and they are storing solvents & paints in their rented premises. These includes HDBs and private properties that they rent wholly, so that the landlords are not aware that they are using the residential unit for lodging of their paint crews and storing of inflammables.

Please kindly take actions and cramp down on such fire hazards.

Paint and solvents are far more dangerous compared to PMDs.

Please kindly take actions and cramp down on such fire hazards.

Should be "clamp down".

"Cramp" is what you get in your muscles from over exercise and insufficient electrolytes.

Pardon my English. We are waiting for accidents to happen. Even paint stores in industrial premises need fire-rated partitions.

For cramps, 100plus helps.
