On Friday 13th, a middle-age man was spotted trying to commit suicide by sitting and/or
laying down in the middle lane of Hexi Road, a busy thoroughfare in Xi'an.
Pedestrians and other road users desperately yelled at the man to clear the road to no avail.
Bystanders could only stand and watch in horror as each passing vehicles tried desperately
to avoid hitting him.
Unfortunately, a few minutes later, a Buick RCC failed and dragged the body of the man under
his car for more than ten of meters causing dead on the spot!
