Now you know why in Little India the Banglas and Indians throng the streets as it were their grandfather's road with zero regard for traffic. They're culturally conditioned in their homeland to realize that if you stood by the side of the road waiting patiently for cars to give way to you, you wouldn't be able to cross the road even after half an hour.
