TRE is not banned by anyone. What has happened is that TRE site admin has banned YOUR IP among others to prevent you from accessing the site.

You have either been a naughty boy and engaged in spamming or other undesirable activities or you are caught up in a case of mistaken identity. It is also possible that your computer is infected by malware and is being used as part of a botnet for launching DDoS attacks etc.

I suggest you run a thorough virus/malware check.

You may also try connecting to TRE using a different computer via the same ISP account. If you're successful, malware is probably the most probable cause.

That's what I created that domain for. Sites are simply filtered via domain name. Filters are not programmed to be smart enough to look at the actual content which can be configured to be accessed by any number of domain names.

Even ashleymadison is up and running "in singapore" despite the fact that ashleymadison.sg is blocked. The internet is just one big network. Country borders mean nothing.
