Wah, very rare to see this price for a plate of chicken rice

I agree with all your points bro....
This seller is catering to a fast growing niche market........
Who are the people eating such 'cheap' chicken rice and why.....cheap not by value but absolute price.
Its probably the only meal they can afford.
We should ask why it has come to this....

bro , thats why i support min salary ..if ppl have money to buy what they wanted then the economy for singapore will be good . biz is like a cycle . the moment you stop min salary ...slowly it will affect your biz too .

Agree with you bro. Minimun wage. We are so far behind.

my downstairs kopitiam chicken rice stall got sell $1.20 chicken rice ... a few strips of chicken is all chicken meat u get ...

I guess you are referring to TAMPINES area :)

After adding rental, electricity, water, worker and ingredients, expense should be around SGD 1.50. Unless the owner is interested in doing charity, think very hard to survive.

bro , for just $1.50 how many pieces of chicken you expect them to serve ? ;)

Nowsadays you be hard pressed to find a filling bowl of noodles in hawker centre for $3...
$1-20, $1.50 chicken rice....What Do You Think?
