Sinkie biz man wants cheap labor. The garment gladly imports them. These biz man are not interested in spending money on increasing productivity, the quality of their staff and products. Salaries for the lower income have not increase for the last 10 years. The unions are in cahoots with the garment and biz man. There was a huge hoo haa recently over just a $50 increase in salary for these working class people. That's why you only see SMEs here. They will never grow into your Sony or Honda.
