Strong opposition have nothing to do with transparency or accountibility. If a strong opposition = those, then India is the most transparent and accountable country in the world liao. Voting Opposition = alternative voice. Good strong opposition = make sure the right decisions are made by ruling party. Bad strong opposition = oppose for the sake of opposing and in the end, nothing gets done. Unfortunately we have the 3rd kind - Weak opposition
