I read this with shock from a para of Dr BH Sheares history. So when did Two Is Enough come about? Was it sort of a 'property cooling measure'...to curb rampant reproduction

What to do with stupid gov. 30 year ago encourage and give benefit for those control birth. Now all follow what the LKY said and PAP regret.
Try to pay more to reversed the condition.
PAP only know how to solve problem using money try to U turn with more and more money.
In the end tax payer suffer from bad gov decision.

this sterilisation thing was espoused by LKY , along with the grad/polygamy idea. This was pre GCT who introduced the idea of FTs.

To be fair , i guess policies have to change from time to time to suit changing landscapes and conditions otherwise we will go the way of the dinosaur.

I think LKY'S plan was morally wrong and i am glad it didnt come to fruition.

FT policy if better managed with the citizenry foremost in mind rather than profits.....well it could and would have been better received because the results would have been better all round.
