To be frank, I also agree with Vivian. What I think the government should do is to take care of the rentals. We have govt land everywhere and they shouldn't pretend it is not their problem.

thankyou ..yes , rental is very imprtant when doing small biz . we cant just fuck vivian up just because he is PAP ...we have to talk sense .

Its a a reflection of the state of PAP 3rd Generation Government that arrogant Balakrishnan is now asking Singaporeans to consider being hawkers. What's the point of pushing the kids so hard in the education system and making the slow learners and developers feeling 2nd class when all that is waiting for the "smarter" ones are just hawker or menial jobs.
Why screw our kids childhood only to become second class citizens in our own countries. Kids in other countries enjoy their childhood and when they are ready, they parachute into our jobs. They get the best of both worlds. Our kids on the other hand, get stressed to go through the rigid education system only to end up in jobs that FT don't want.
The PAP is totally bankrupt of ideas and just continuing to maintain GDP numbers by importing FT and suppressing our own. Too bad for them, karma will not be their fate but instead the whole of Singapore is taken down by them
