Yes, YOG shop is dull and unappealing

I AGREE with Ms Carrie-Ann Lee last Saturday about the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) shop at Ngee Ann City - that 'the overall look and feel were not welcoming' ('YOG shop').
After seeing the advertisement flashed on the screen of the DBS ATM, I visited the YOG shop at Ngee Ann City. I was unable to find the shop and needed assistance from the information counter. I was shocked to see a makeshift booth with a limited selection of merchandise. I wanted to buy some YOG caps but was told they were not on the YOG merchandise list.
YOG is such a big event in Singapore. I hope the distributor will consider better promotion of merchandise and have more outlets than just two (Ngee Ann City and Changi Airport).
Let Singaporeans show their great spirit in supporting the YOG by wearing T-shirts as we did during the National Day celebration.

YOG just boycott it like plague .

Those with money got no interest in it .

Those no money just curious .

Why spend money on t-shirts that make u look stoopid?

Like it or not the taxpayers are on the hook again

The PAP just luv to waste taxpayers $$$, must vote them out to rein in all the waste that goes on.

Loads of hard earned taxpayers money down the drain again being squandered to glorify the authorities.

I'd rather see the money used to have Fandi Ahmed's foot print cast in stone on the Walk of Fame (if we ever have one) at the new stadium.

Your suggestion also waste of money.

Go and recce around Singapore old HDB estates and you will see many old poor souls wasting around the void areas.

The YOG millions should be to help the needy. Not used to try to boost SCUMS standings. Luckily for critics, this YOG is headed for failure.

Expect FREE TICKETS to be given out soon. Also school children and NSF to attend at discounted price or free. MOST LIKELY PARENTS WILL BE FORCED TO BUY TICKETS FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN.

I don't mean to be a wet blanket or spoilsport. Granted the people, students especially have worked very hard to make it a success, but still I'm sorry to say there's no buzz in the air! No palpable excitement or put it simply, majority of heartlanders totally bochap.:D
