You don't need to be a civil engineer to figure out what caused the floods or "PONDING" in Orchard Road; but we need to give them the answers to solve the problem, while they makan & then tidur!

Like what he said previously, whether it is a meal in hawker, food court or restaurant, he meant it is a choice.

So for this case, it is his choice if he want to evolve just to barely meet the current weather prediction or built one that will meet the predicted condition for decades to come.

He will still be fucked by the people if he made the wrong decision, that is his job.

I honestly feel very sad for many of those from the 60.1% of the population.
Many of them cannot even afford to pay their own utilities bills, telephone bills, car insurance, road-tax and instalments, housing loan monthly repayments and buying milk for their little kids.
Sheer pity but I dunno why they voted such people into the government.
Maybe they were wrong now.
We MUST keep reminding them.

A little bird told me there is a big story behind the flooding and a gag order has been issued. Apparently, the word in the industry is that it is drainage design from all the recent constructions that is causing the flood. Investigation revealed that instead building separate drainage pipings, new mega building (office, condo and malls) have been connecting their drainage to the main pipes; thus overloading it.

Not sure if there is Kelong behind this as all designs need to be approved by NEA, BCA, PUB etc.. But 100% that someone up there has been sleeping on the job.

good point. anyone with half an intellect would have observed, that the ponding in orchard road happened only AFTER the launch of ION. capital land and sun hung kai have jointly fcuked singaporeans over. good job!
