Serious Vile Oppies Set Fire To Toa Payoh Lift Landing! Good Cougar Hurt!

SINGAPORE — A 48-year-old woman had to be taken to the Tan Tock Seng hospital on Monday (Feb 12) morning after a fire gutted the lift landing on the 8th floor of Blk 5 Lorong 7 Toa Payoh.

The police said the case was one of "mischief by fire", and added that investigations were underway.

The fire involved discarded items, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said, and it was extinguished using a compressed air foam backpack.

TODAY understands that the woman, who has a history of asthma, resides on the same floor where the fire broke out. She reported feeling breathless, and was conscious when she was taken to the hospital.

When TODAY arrived at the scene at 2.50pm, technicians were seen repairing the electrical wires that were damaged during the fire.

The lift landing was charred, with the walls and ceiling covered with soot.

The fire started at the lift lobby, & the lift doors, door frames & whatever caught fire, the smoke floated down the corridors, floated to the woman's flat...she inhaled & had an asthma attack..didn't die was conscious. During the Lunar 7th month, she must have fainted almost everyday...by the same logic right? & taken conscious to the hospital. The news reporting is rather strange...trying to add some excitement to a rather boring news of a fire at a lift landing, when a couple of insects, spiders & lizards...most likely unconscious & taken to the hospital.
