The toll fees is peanuts compared to oil revenue.
One vessel easily load say 1 million barrels. At $100/ bbl, thats $100 mil . Iran produces 3 times that amount.
 
It is not a matter of monetary value, but rather of control, as demonstrated by the series of incidents occurring between April 17 and April 18.
