Russia is a nuclear power and unlike israel, has so far kept civilian casualties in ukraine to the minimum.
Putin was arguably too soft-hearted, failing to mirror the decisive military strategies often employed by the US and Israel. By not launching an immediate decapitation strike to eliminate Zelensky and his top officials, he allowed the conflict to spiral into a prolonged war, which has ultimately led to strategic disasters for Russia.
