On paper, the concept looks good, but only on paper.
1. In a time of war, living in the age of drones and missiles, such can still reach that new proposed canal, defeating its aim, along with $100Billion wasted.
2. Even if feasible, it would take years if not decades to build such a canal.
3. The Iran war is not expected to last, and at most, it will be a few more weeks before the brainwashed mosaic elements of rogue IRGC/Hezbollah depletes its stocks of missiles and drones as well as production capability will be if not already gone, but not its hot air spewing threats that scares none except the naive.
Even their funds are running low, to pay the salaries of its soldiers let alone social expenditure. It's coming to the end of the month. Loyal soldiers may claim that they will fight, but without food, water, shelter for oneself, let alone loved ones whom are dependent on the salaries check, how can they fight?
They are morons to presume that they can hold 7Billion Humankind hostage thru the rise of oil price. It had instead
a)Made 7 billion Humankind woke up to the realities of what the evil Iranian regime is doing - driving up costs in their daily lives, creating anger against them.
b)Strengthened 7 Billion Humankind's resolve to WIPE OUT the brutal Iranian regime than to live on knees to terrorism, they way we Humankind and the courageous troops had done to another terrorist group ISIS that once made Humanity hide under pillows, in an epic FINAL battle in Raqqa
Therefore, instead of committing to the canal plan, use that $100 Billion investment on HELPING END TERRORISM BY THE BRUTAL EVIL IRAN REGIME, TO BRING PEACE AND PROSPERITY BACK. For sure, an investor would see better and faster returns on such an investment than on a harebrained concept canal.
