The ruling PAP party broke manpower law by getting a foreign worker to distribute their party manifestos. Under the Ministry of Manpower law, foreign workers on work permits are not supposed to work outside their sector-specific passes.

For example, a foreign worker on construction work permit can only work in the construction sites. Therefore in this video below, the Bangladesh worker was not able to produce any documentation to prove that he is allowed to partake in political work.
