Video of fight on MRT train goes viral

[h=2]A video of two men fighting on an SMRT train went viral online on Thursday. SMRT confirmed that the incident occurred at 11.55pm on 11 January, in a southbound train which was approaching Yio Chu Kang MRT station.[/h]

SINGAPORE: A video of two men fighting on an SMRT train went viral online on Thursday.

SMRT confirmed that the incident occurred at 11.55pm on 11 January, in a southbound train which was approaching Yio Chu Kang MRT station.

In a statement on Friday, SMRT said its staff were alerted by a passenger who activated the emergency communication button.

The station's staff escorted the two men out.
