can reject one meh? not afraid of the consequences from US if they really reject?
1. To understand the US Ambassador issue, one needs to KNOW who and what PrezTrump is:-
a) He is a successful and intelligent businessman for decades, and thus with power and wealth, authoritarianism takes hold, as it is such that brought him his success thru the highs and lows in life, to make necessary decisions based up his own judgements, very similar to most bizmen Worldwide.
b) With authoritarianism in his blood, he intends to MICRO-MANAGE every aspect of governance of his administration, a top down approach - simply obey and follow orders-his orders. As for Ambassador/Consular affairs, he would had sent donkeys instead but unfortunately, donkeys can only bray and not sign documents......
2. Ambassadors and Consulate officers have only 2 simple roles to play WITH just PrezTrump basic command - Make America Great Again. Any issues that counters such, they will have to report back to the SecState who equally obeys and follow the commands of PrezTrump, for him to either ponder upon such issues for weeks or make snap decisions on the spot, a directive to be OBEYED.
Of course, they too have a secondary role - to help, assist and protect American interests - American citizens, troops and biz interests on foreign lands. They would have their own admin, made up of specialists in legal, security, trade, etc in attempts to resolve such issues within the foreign lands before reporting back to US for decisions and directives.
3. Most, if not all Ambassadors and Consular officers, are wealthy, already have all they ever needed this life, thus are deemed incorruptible in the lusts that many Humankind indulges in. They are given the perks, honor and privileges that comes with being the Representative of the Elected President's Administration, under one simple condition - obey and follow commands.
4. Micro-managing may be good in certain situations such as within a small firm, but as USA is the leader of the Free-World, many situations may be overlooked and feedback not properly relayed back to the top,....
5. As for host Nations, most already know Ambassadors/Consular officers are not the only ones that they would need to work with, more so USA being a successful Democratic Nation for 200+yrs. There are Democratic Institutions that one can approach to resolve issues, such as Congress - House and Senate members, PrezTrump inner circle whom he would seek for ideas although not necessarily that he would listen, Biz enterprise leaders, and many, many more others.....
To put in simply over the Ambassador issue....think deeper. The insignificant nobody me had said more than I should.....
