the family hired the chef team to serve their literally "last supper" before commit suicide for the entire family. They spent the last amount of their money to get a good meal for their daughter. However after realizing that there is shrimp in the stock, the chef used MSG from instant noodle packages (the green ones if you see from the clip). The female chef (main character) saw the whole thing and upset on john wick guy. Then the next day, there was a news on TV about this family and the girl was really sad about this. A lot of sentimental scenes in this one. I would suggest you watch it. I think the movie name is Hunger.
The cook didn't mess up the recipe. The father, in debt, called the cook to make the food, but he sabotaged the food so that his daughter would die and he would sue the chef. Since his daughter didn't die, the father killed his daughter, his wife, and himself. This is the hidden scene behind this disagreement.
