nirmally US would have attacked all The vital infrastructure such as power plants, water, sewage, telecommunication equipments like they did in libya, iraq and syrua to devastating effect as these countries could not hit back after decades of sanctions.
But iran is different. Despite 47 years of ssnctions, they created their own defence strategy and worked on it domestically. If they has sorted out the air defences, nobody would dare attack them. Unfortunately, air defence failed. But their missiles and drone deterrence worked and if israel, whacked their infrastructure, they will do the same on istael. A eye for a eye. So far infrastructure remains intact except for certain water supply facilities.
