This is as predicted and expected to happen when a brutal and savage regime with DECENTRALIZED military units in chaos, as EACH FACTION seizes to become the next king of Iran......even in this modern century - China under the last Qing Dynasty, Shogunate led Imperial Japan Army, etc, etc.
The New transitional leader in Iran is subtle, cunning and devious as proven by his often confusing messages since the Iran War started right up till the last ceasefire meeting, perhaps a need to save his skin....
Ultimately, it WILL BE MONEY/FUNDS, that keeps a country alive, and he or his team controls it. There were reports of recent hangings carried out by the brutal and savage regime, perhaps, this time it had not been protestors whom were hanged, but terrorists IRGC units.

Whomever has the funds will pay the military units that sides with the Transitional govt. During the 12 day ceasefire, both Iran and USA had not been sleeping or idly passing the days by. Much had happened.
As the Terrorist IRGC attempts to restock their missiles and drones, and even seeking supplies from other nations which will NOT be an easy task with blockades, as even rebuilding and taking in NEW foreign stocks of missiles and drones are not Plug and Play types, but needs weeks if not months to train and synchronize with whatever defense system that those individual and non trusting terrorist elements will have to grapple with, more so as many of their trained operators are already long buried under bunkers.
However, the Americans had been pouring over maps and tracking systems, to FIND such missile and drones stocks and wipe them out. NOT EVEN a 12ft trailer truck with pictures of oranges on the sides of the truck will escape their notice. They will track where it come out from - malls or warehouses in cities or countryside, to their missile sites, and thus KNOWS NOW where to strike....and strike hard, with NO mercy as the terrorists had shown NO MERCY to Neighbors and HUMANKIND.
All the best to the Iranian Transitional team that seeks for peace. Their oil and gas fields, along with their power plants, were left untouched, and would generate TRILLIONS over years in peace to uplift Iranian lives.
