in fact when the 82nd airborne rangers trained there in sk, they feared the sk rangers who acted as the “enemy” and assistants to american sexercise controllers. the latter were sons of bitches and tough but the sk rangers were sadists and sextreme badasses. if an american ranger were to be “caught” by sk rangers his weapon, equipment, rations, uniform, underwear, including backpack with sextra clothing would be seized and transported back to starting control point. the soldier would be subjected to torturous punishments for hours in the nude and finally allowed to crawl back into the woods, by which time he would be faced with severe delays and might have missed reaching his next checkpoint on time. if sexercise were to be in winter, “captured” ranger would have to fall out and surrender to base as sexposure to the brutal sk cold would kill him. in spring, summer and fall, ranger could still survive by stealing clothing and food from sk civilians.
