Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, has revealed her time with the Spice Girls has 'finished for good.'

The singer-turned fashion designer told Vogue Paris in a new interview that she wasn't overly excited about reuniting with the Spice Girls in 2008, explaining she lacked "passion" for the 1990s girl group.

“I realised it was finished for good in 2008, when we reformed for our reunion tour," Victoria told the magazine. "It should have been the best moment of my life, but I just wanted to be elsewhere.”

Victoria continued, "It wasn’t a lack of respect for the girls or the audience, but the passion just wasn’t there. By contrast, in my new career, the passion grows every year. I still want more."

During Victoria's tenure in the Spice Girls, she became known as Posh Spice due to her pout and aloof demeanour, one she reveals was an act designed to help her cope with the fame.

“I looked moody. But I wasn’t!” she’s said. “I was shy, [and] not very sure of myself.

"I had to create a character and I thought of that: staring at people and pouting. My insecurities helped me invent the character in a way.”

Despite developing this coping mechanism during her time in the girl group, it's a trait Victoria claims she's not let go of.

"Nowadays, it's like a barrier that comes back whenever I go out in public. That's the way fame has affected me."
