Speaking on the Channel 8 news programme Hello Singapore, Senior Minister of State for Finance and Transport Josephine Teo said yesterday (25 Aug) that the response to the new off-peak monthly travel pass has been good.

About 10,000 commuters bought the pass last month, she happily revealed.

The pass, which costs $80 for adults, was launched on Jun 28. It offers unlimited travel on rail services and basic bus services during off-peak hours.

What does the 10,000 figure represent?
What was the target?
As a percentage of the total number of commuters during the
the off-peak hours, what does the 10,000 figure represent?
This is the kind of wishy washy that this air-head has been
dishing out from the Finance Ministry.
And she's paid by the millions per year?

bishan tpy grc has almost 150,000 and she managed only 10,000 from pork barrel. how about trying something like halal pork instead?

$80 for a monthly off-peak travel pass... do the math, it is a rip-off. ;)
