Question: COULD IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MCE HAVE BEEN BETTER?
Answer: The congestion was messy but it did not last beyond the initial period. In the evening of 30th Dec, there was no congestion. That situation has not been repeated. Nonetheless, the right thing is for us to look into what happened and understand what contributed to the localised congestion.

Question: CENTRAL BOULEVARD HAD TO BE WIDENED FROM TWO LANES TO FOUR LANES TO RELIEVE THE CONGESTION...
Answer: We cannot have the attitude that everything will be perfect from Day One. If we go in with that attitude, it can only mean that we have to build in a lot of redundancies.

Question: AFTER THE JAM, MORE SIGNS AND ADVERTISEMENTS ON THE ROUTES CAME UP. WHY NOT EARLIER?
Answer: You can always have more signs and advertisements but you have to be interested (to notice them).

Blaming seems to be in the white scums gene.

Josephine Teo: 'I’d have had four kids if not for politics'

Did anyone point a gun to her head and force her to be in politics?

This airhead has improved slightly in terms of fielding questions from the media. She gave a lot of oblique answers to questions, some answers smelling of bovine expulsion, and some just plain bull shit.

Bloody bitch trying to be funny? With the amount of money we are paying her every year so that her family is able to travel overseas to anywhere she fancies annually, I fucking expect everything involving her and the rest of the highly paid CBs to be perfect from the day one.

Lower her salary and I will lower my expectation of her.

The problem with sinkies is that they are very bad drivers and they seem to be exceptionally poor at reading road signs. I've come across these blur fuck sinkies in NZ when they're driving around as tourists. They have the fantastic ability to get lost even with GPS or Google Maps.

I had a visitor from Singapore call me up one day when he visited Auckland. He was supposed to meet me for lunch. I waited for 40 minutes and decided to call him. Turns out he was half way to Hamilton. He got lost on State Highway One.

IMHO
sounds very "how lian" to me

is that the right word?
