Vanness Wu splits from Singaporean girlfriend
The Taiwanese media is ablaze with reports claiming that former F4 member Vaness Wu has broken with his Singaporean girlfriend, Arissa Cheo.
The pop-star released a statement through his manager on Sunday stating, "Indeed, (we have) broken up, but we still keep in contact with each other. We are still friends."
The couple's relationship became public knowledge after Wu was photographed with his beau on multiple occasions in April this year.
He had previously claimed that they were "dating with marriage in mind."
However, it is thought to be that the break-up was due to the differences in the lifestyles that they led individually.
Vaness Wu preferred a sedentary one, whilst Arissa Cheo is a party livewire.
This speculation cannot be confirmed according to the local media as Wu's manager, refused to comment saying, "it is not convenient to talk about these things" when pressed for comment.
He concluded the interview by stating: "He (Wu) feels that the other party (Cheo) is not from the entertainment industry, and hopes to respect her privacy."
