Using Energy-Saving Light-Bulbs ? You Gotta See This..............Very GRAPHIC

Who is stupid enough to believe this.

Energy savings bulbs for domestic use does not have mercury.

erm.... actually they do contain mercury. The mercury atoms are needed to create collision with electrons and produce uv light.

this is even more scary........

KNN you CB make me laugh....so hilarious.

You wouldn't get light even if you screw on an energy saving lightbulb on TPL's head.

Boss, this GOD IS MY DOG is the resident schizo of this forum. Don't take his conspiracy theories too seriously. The amount of mercury in a compact florescent light bulb is too minute to cause the level of necrosis as depicted in that website. :D

The website story is a scam. If it was an ordinary bulb, his hand wld have been burnt badly, the skin wld stick to the glass. CFL bulbs are warm but not as hot. The hot part is at the ceramic part where the copper windings are. I don't believe can cut until like that, if bulb dropped it burst into powdery bits.

Correct correct. Dont know why people want to fake this kind of story.
What they get out of it?

Read again. The intent is energy savings. Not UV generation. You dont get much UV from incandescent do you?
