19th November 2019 – (Hong Kong) At around 3pm today, around 10 flashmob protesters barricaded the junction between Nathan Road and Shantung Street. They placed bricks, road signs in the middle of the road before leaving. Moments later, around 20 civilians cleared the obstruction. An hour later, another group of flashmob protesters arrived and barricaded the junction between Portland Street and Shantung Street. They also blocked traffic on both directions of Nathan Road and Argyle Street. Someone hurled a concrete slab from top of a building on Shantung Street without hitting anyone.

At around 4.20pm today, there were several people who helped to clear the bricks on Nathan Road. A man clad in black took a brick to hurl at one of them. They then made a call for help before two men armed with axes who were allegedly linked to triads walked towards them from Portland Street. One of them shouted at the protesters, ‘Anyone makes a noise, I will slash him, useless youth!’.
