Not true, Mr. Syed Putra. It would be good(?) advice if RUS is on friendly terms with its neighbors - 17 neighbors including rapacious China. Even USA shares a border with RUS, and sadly, most are not on good terms with RUS. Even RUS leaders know to trust no one - a teaching learnt from the devil Stalin. The moment each of the 17 nations see a weakening in RUS, it is a time to be bold & seize whatever they can, more so avaricious China.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, RUS leadership are far more intelligent than you. They would HAVE to keep their best troops & equipment at those borders, even in Moscow now, as they need the BEST to be there should hostility happens, more so now. Most & many of those 300,000 conscripts are sent to UKR, to be a show of RUS strength & in reality, only as canon fodder as they are ill equipped & little trained than RUS regulars. Such facts are proven by reports from conscripts themselves, & not your assumption.
Even their best military hardware, & whatever that's left in its stockpile, are held in reserve for those border regions. UKR invasion was only meant as a short term military socio economic operation. The RUS planners FAILED & had miscalculated, & thus the russian quagmire now & WILL BE worse if it continues on with its stupidity & insanity, especially when winter sets in, under drastic climate change that will see its unprepared & ill equipped RUS youths frozen to death in UKR as the invading Nazi Germans did in the 1940s.

As such, the 101st adopted & adapted themselves to the national bird, & is a tradition for each generation entering the prestigious & hallowed 101st. Those who do not measured up, are advised to leave.
When an eagle screams, it is not out of fear, but out of joy to be finally be able to capture its prey, regardless of any obstacle.
