US military industry profit immensely from overseas war but in this case, no US casualty expected so this war can go on indefinitely.
But Ukraine has ran out of men to fight. They sent their army to go on the offensive against Russia and were mowed down. Now there is nobody left to stop Russia from advancing in spring..
If US insist Ukraine join NATO, Russia will have to destroy the country or just take over Ukraine entirely and make it a part of Russia.

Actually, if Ukraine is in NATO, it will solve many issues. On the other hand, if putin didn't decide to invade, Ukraine wouldn't need to be in NATO.
