Singapore rower Saiyidah Aisyah, 25, has come in first in the SEA Games individual 2000m rowing race, winning the nation-state's first-ever individual gold medal in the sport.
She rowed a time of 8:08:94 in the 2km lightweight single sculls race, gaining a strong two-second victory over Indonesia's Maryam Makdalena Daimoi, who clocked in a time of 8:10:47.
Aisyah is Singapore's only competitive female rower and also its sole representative at the Games. Her historic victory for the nation is even sweeter given that she has been funding her own training and competition expenses throughout this year and has been training solo since its 2011 edition.
Previously, the student development manager at Ngee Ann Polytechnic attained three bronze medals over the past two Games, and prior to that, snagged a third-place finish at the 2010 Asia Cup.
More recently, she won a silver medal at the Southeast Asian rowing championships in May, and reached an overall 17th ranking at the world championships in Korea in August.

Sailed first then rowed or the other way round?

As I'd said in my correction - should have been rowing - my bad.

How to support Aisyah?

Who ask her to be a stupid sinkie?
Money all go to support Foreign Trash even if they are fucking trash.
And to give bonuses to organisers and managers , even if they manage to get fuckoff results with foreign trash.
Sinkies at the bottom of the table as money go only to foreigners every time and any time

Impressive achievement and deserving of high praise.

Now just waiting to hear if any underserving second tier politician or national sports association bigwig will try to share her glory.

No ice creams for her?

Re: Unsupported by NSA but Saiyidah Aisyah wins Singapore’s first individual sailing

I really feel a sense of national pride. And shame and her treatment. When our PRC b-team mercenary cunts won I felt nothing. She really should tell foreign presses how we discriminate against our own athletes here

Re: Unsupported by NSA but Saiyidah Aisyah wins Singapore’s first individual sailing

Well done to her.. Its remarkable achievement considering the lack of support she received from the Pappy Scums..

Re: Unsupported by NSA but Saiyidah Aisyah wins Singapore’s first individual sailing

Now PAP is readying some media shoot, coverage to take credit,no doubt.

never underestimate the arm(pit) power of minahs. :o

Re: Unsupported by NSA but Saiyidah Aisyah wins Singapore’s first individual sailing

Actually, rowing is a total body discipline. No doubt, you need strong arms but you also need a strong core (upper and lower torso) to support those arms and strong thighs to push all that mass back with each stroke. If you like all round hard-bodied women, go for rowers.

And of course, there is that forward-backward rhythm!

never underestimate the arm(pit) power of minahs. :o

This is a clear example of achieving success and happiness when you stay away from sinkie low life PAP losers.

I am right again.
