Some of the gates of the Shenzhen Metro support the UnionPay flash payment, which was opened at the end of the year.

[Sing Tao Daily News] As the residents of Dawan District of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao are more and more frequent, the "one-hour living circle" interconnection is becoming more and more convenient. Shenzhen is the first stop for Hong Kong people to go north. Residents often take the Shenzhen Metro frequently. China UnionPay has opened the UnionPay IC card and the UnionPay mobile phone flash payment "one shot" since March this year. Hong Kong people can issue credit cards and prepaid cards issued by local banks, printed with UnionPay and Quick Pass logos. Shoot directly through the gate. Next, UnionPay will continue to promote the application of mobile payment in the public transportation sector in Dawan District, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau. A mobile phone with a UnionPay card can be used directly in the subway without a network, such as Apple Pay.

At the Fukuda Station in Deep Iron, the reporter personally experienced the "second pass" gate. Zhou Yu, deputy general manager of the Smart Life Service Department of UnionPay Shenzhen Branch, said that compared with other electronic payment methods, UnionPay cards directly take physical cards and do not rely on network signals. At the peak of passenger flow, other payment systems may have poor signal and difficult scanning. UnionPay electronic payment does not require a network, which is its advantage.

According to the reporter's on-the-spot observation, the Shenzhen citizens mainly used Shenzhen Pass (similar to the Hong Kong version of Octopus, but only for transportation), and some people used WeChat to pay for the scanning code. It is not easy for UnionPay to open the market. Some passengers believe that there are already many payment methods for the Shenzhen Metro. If UnionPay pays for the promotion, they will try it out.

Liu Heng, general manager of UnionPay International Hong Kong Branch, believes that UnionPay's application scenario is richer and more efficient than its counterparty's payment plan. He also agrees that any payment instrument should be used to cultivate user habits at an early stage, and price subsidies will be the most important. Strategy. At present, among the eight subways and more than 5,000 gates of the Shenzhen Metro, each station has at least "two in and two out" with a total of four gate passages, supporting the UnionPay flash payment. Zhou Yu said that by the end of April, the MTR (Shenzhen) Line 4 full gates will be upgraded and upgraded, and all the gates of the Shenzhen Metro will be fully supported by the end of this year.

Zhou Ling, the person in charge of the Shenzhen Railway, said that it is now necessary to take the Shenzhen Metro. Passengers have a variety of payment options. In addition to UnionPay payments, they also include the purchase of a one-way ticket for the subway, the use of Shenzhen Tong (similar to Octopus), the use of a ticket card, and the purchase of a subway day. Payment method such as ticket or time card, and mobile phone scan code. She said with a smile, "There are less than five passengers who buy one-way tickets. We used to worry about the high rate of one-way tickets and the long queues of passengers. Now we have solved it." Zhou Ling said that the shortest route of the deep iron The cost of making a two-way ticket is actually more expensive.

With the continuous extension of the Shenzhen metro line network, the passenger flow of the subway continues to climb. Last year, the average daily passenger flow of the Shenzhen Metro network exceeded 5 million passengers.

In addition, the Shenzhen Bus also paid for the UnionPay payment last year, with a cumulative use of more than 30 million. Shenzhen taxis have 17,000 units to support UnionPay electronic payment, and will expand to 21,000 units this year, which is supported by all taxis in the city. At present, UnionPay has opened subway payment services in 22 cities in the Mainland. Among them, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Foshan Metros in the Dawan District have already supported overseas card clearance. At the same time, 600 cities in the Mainland support the UnionPay card electronic payment. Since the beginning of this year, the number of Hong Kong cardholders using UnionPay mobile payment in the Mainland has increased rapidly. Among them, the amount of the UnionPay flash payment transaction of Hong Kong cardholders in the Mainland in the first quarter of this year has increased by a factor of four and year-on-year. The transaction volume of the physical silver checkpoints in the first quarter of this year increased by 1.7 times year-on-year, compared with the year-on-year growth of the previous year.

The old magnetic Transitlink card was very fun.

MRT ride: stick it in horizontally, pops out vertically from the top.

Bus ride: press the lowest amount for your fare, listen to the melody of your ticket being printed and dispensed, and pray the bus conductor doesn't come.

Not bus conductor, but bus inspector. If you have an automated printed ticket, that means there is no bus conductor.
