What this guy did was clearly wrong. Some are sympathetic towards him, others not so much.

But what bothers me is why he decided to take out his anger and frustration on an innocent party, instead of messing up the party of someone who did him wrong, may it be a petty boss who fired him unfairly or a vindictive colleague who backstabbed him.
Yes, I know that's wrong as well and should be punished by the law, but that would be more comprehensible to me.
If he was really fired unfairly or backstabbed, at least some sort of justice would have been served.

Lee Cunt Yew regime used to be thought as STABLE because of a main reason - people were living well and contented, meaning they have just next to no reason to want troubles. This is now totally reversed to the dangerous extend. Troubles can be big and near at any time now.

A lot of bros here condemn PAP for sitting on an Ivory tower while making comments on the poor. It occurs to me that a lot of bros here are doing exactly what they allege the PAP does!! The pot calling the kettle black!!!

In fact, I personally share the view that we should not be dependent on the Govt or on welfare, but depend on ourselves.

However, I must admit that my parents gave me a good head start in life with a University Degree (ok I studied hard too). Some Singaporeans are not as lucky, they could be brought up in a poor or broken family and they fall into this vicious poverty cycle. Fine, some are lazy, but some are not. They are just borned unlucky.

We should not be quick to condemn people whom we perceived to be "losers". Their circumstance may be different from ours. We could simply be borned luckier than them, that's all.

We should instead practice some compassion and see how we could help those really in need of help.

I read the article very closely, but could not find anything those buffet people did that could have caused his anger.
There was no indication that they had rejected his request for food or that they were making a ruckus to disturb his sleep, or dirtied the surrounding area.
If they had done something like that, there would be more sympathy for him.
There may also be more sympathy if he disrupted the party of people who had harmed him in some way.
But he simply took it out on seemingly innocent people. That's not right.
