I would like to ask: Under what situations does a bank in Singapore have the right to freeze/terminate a person's account? Assume that this person is not a tax evader, that this is a saving account so no question of overdraft.

The one reason I can think of is: This person has been charged with a serious crime and the court has ruled that his or her assets be frozen, or this account has been involved in criminal activity like loansharking and the court has ruled that the account be frozen.

Can there be other reasons?

As long as there is a court order, a bank will comply.
