I think it has to do with Singapore making friends with other isolated countries. So, effectively, the isolated countries of this world is not that isolated after all because they still have each other.

i know of companies who pay $1.6k- $1.8k to Poly SG Diploma graduates who have completed NS and complained that the technicians dont stay in the company for long.

Is $1.6 to $1.8k per month reasonable pay for a Poly graduate who have served ns?
