Under 30 policymakers!!!

This was what I was complaining about previously.

I knew ministers were just props and the real policy work was done by the little scholars; mostly unmarried, without girl/boy friends and totally...totally clueless about matters of the heart and life.

I dare bet that these scholars are mostly virgins, people with little social contact and networking; limited family interaction and importantly has no inkling about hardships that low income families face daily.

In the end they end up carving policies up which is perfect...on paper but entirely ineffective when implemented due to their own, limited, real life exposures to the push/pulls, joys/pain, ecstasy/gloom of real people.

Stupid PAP policies of employing young scholars whom they think can solve problems. Is it not better to put senior civil servants with plenty of years of experience/contact with the population to to understand the little nuances of how policies can work on the ground?

We can do without these overpaid scholars. I don't see the budget as being creative/groundbreaking that can only come out from the scholars' idea. The product looked like it came from any junior college student.:(

I feel shocked that Job Credit policy is done by these youngsters except the director (39 year).

not related to the above, I wonder have the young ones worked in private sectorial before? Just curious curious only. can? But I am sure they very skilled in studying for good grades.

WTF!!! I saw it Straits Times that the Job Credit Scheme policymakers are under 30, except the director. While I strongly believe that these young people are very smart, very high chance they are super scholars, I doubt they have the experience and ground knowledge to handle such matters. I know that the government want to inject young blood and look for the next generation of leaders and this bunch will go very very high up the food chain. If the team is a mix of young and old, it will be good, but all under 30????
