I'm 1000% certain any government who actually dares to give their hard fought land back to the "enemy" will get voted out very soon. More so given the fact that most of those in government actually fought in those wars themselves

This is the kind of patronising bollocks the bloody Yaodis keep perpetuating. Acc to the 1948 mandate, it was stated that there shall be a home for the Jews in Palestine. That did not mean that the whole of Palestine is to be the home of the Jews. You are right peace can never be achieved so long as these people remain stupid with their beliefs. If conflicts in this part of the world are not contain, it will not be a surprise this region is going to be the first trigger point of nuclear war that will only bring about destruction to human civilization.
