EU gives companies green light to buy gas from Russia

Another win for Putin. Disillusionment for the likes of @winners ....hahaha
At the moment, yes. It's unfortunate that there is no quick alternative to replace their gas requirement. But I'm sure that in the long term, they'll get their sources from alternative suppliers after more infrastructures are built. Already, Germany has committed to stop relying on Russian oil by the end of this year. Oil commodity is easier to buy from elsewhere and also to transport and store. This is just one shortfall by the EU, albeit temporarily.

In the meantime, Russia triples her current account surplus and I hope Putin cuts off gas this winter so that we can have pics of stiff frozen Europeans in return for supplying weapons to Ukraine and wanting them to die in their proxy war.
And in 3 years time, Russia would have built new infrastructure to export oil and gas to other places. This will effectively ruin EU economies with expensive fossil fuels and Russia will return the favour to countries that have supported her with cheap fuel so that their economies prosper and move away from US imperialism.
Putin wins again and @winners cry into his pillow. Hahaha

You are still living in illusion. Wake up. Nobody is buying Russian energy commodities except the Tiongs and India, but India is also being watched by the West if they will over commit.

Don't need 3 years to watch how Russia will collapse. Once Bloodymir Putin goes up lorry, the ordinary Russian citizens will be relieved of their suffering. McDonald's will return, Renault-Nissan will return and so will be more International companies. Most of the Oligarchs will also be celebrating. You just wait and see for yourself.

The oligarchs would definitely celebrate if Putin kaputs, but I actually foresee a separate ecosystem being developed in the absence of the western monopolies; just look at Douyin, Alibaba etc. China is doing well without the likes of Youtube/Google/Facebook.

Those may be doing well because they have a big domestic market which they have to depend upon. Otherwise, you think Jack Ma will still tolerate the shit that Winnie has imposed on him and his companies till this day? He has no other choice, but to grind his own teeth.

Demand will drive the development of the new eco-system, big or small, it will flourish somehow.

More juicy insider scoops from the Kremlin
