According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force, the 31-year-old male passenger was found lying motionless and pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Lianhe Wanbao reported that the victim suffered a fractured skull, and that the road was wet after a heavy downpour in the morning.

Not new this news.
One woman passenger was killed last year and a PR I think from Jordan was the Uber driver. Government policies kill people. They should just ban PR from driving PHV whom had zero knowledge on Singapore roads. It's like waiting for disaster to happen.

LTA may change the rule that private hire car drivers must first have their PDVL before they can offer private hire car services.

Now, applicants will have up to one year to attend and pass the PDVL course, during which they will still be allowed to provide private hire car services

Comfort taxi also can kenna accident. My ex colleague niece just out of poly, first job work less than 3 month, took taxi home after OT. Her taxi was rear ended by another taxi at the traffic lights. Suffered brain damage, now total paralyzed, cannot even talk. Now just early 20s, both family and her are suffering. So blame local driver for not knowing road conditions?
