Two workplace accidents happened at two separate construction sites today leaving one man dead and several others injured.
The first incident happened at about 9:30 in the morning at a construction site at Pioneer Turn.
The scaffolding had collapsed around a building forcing workers to fall from the 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] storey.
One of our regular TRS contributors who works in a construction company was at the scene and shared with us these exclusive photos from the accident in the morning:
One man, in his 20s died from the accident and is seen with a white cloth covering his body. Two others were injured and taken to NUH.

One man has already had surgery and is now in the intensive care unit, the other man is in stable condition.
Manpower Minister Tan Chuan-Jin tweeted that his thoughts go out to the families.
Separately, another accident happened at a worksite in Jurong East.
Our TRS contributor had a friend on site there when a soil collapse left a man injured at about 4:45pm.
Here are some of the photos from the scene:
A worker had been in the ditch working when part of the side of the trench gave way, partially burying him. Other workers were able to help him get out from the ditch and were seen later attending to him at a nearby grass patch.
