Taiwanese pop diva Elva Hsiao has appealed for help after her private e-mail account was hacked.
The 44-year-old singer took to social media on April 9, asking netizens to help track down the hackers who had used her account to send malicious e-mail.
Hsiao wrote that her account was “compromised by someone with the IP address
[email protected]”, and the culprit sent out “inappropriate, hateful and threatening messages” to her family and friends, damaging her reputation in the process.
