Remember the TV game shows ? Except for the ones in Sinkieland, these shows could win big money for the lucky participants.

Wheel of Fortune was one of my favourites especially when Vanna was young.

The most disappointing sinkie version was The Weakest Link. Had watched the australian and UK versions and it was one of the most cunning game shows I've watched. They voted off lousy contestants to grow the pot until the last few.

But in the sinkie version, the smartest contestants were voted off first because everyone was kiasu. nah beh..

I just love Jeopardy. Although slightly biased (US based) it is still universal and general in its coverage. Philosphy, history, science, politics, sports, music, and trivia even. Apart from World Geography, I'd fucking lose in all categories. Couple of times a year, they have the celebtrity event - that's when we get to see witty and stupid answers - from seat of their pants!

Too bad not available in Sg.

Yes. My favourite too. Quiz shows with impossibly hard questions I like. Singapore had one called brainstorm once....eventually won by a pilot guy

Don't forget the lyrics...this game shows is really generous in their price $ as compare to the giam siap taiwanese lyrics show :p
Another 1 about playing some games to complete in 60secs in order to continue to next round too, their prize $ is really scary and some of the first few level ypto $250k is pretty easy to complete...I wish had the chance to play it .

I watched the HK version with carol cheng as host. No holds barred contestants suaned until no end.
