Cancer drugs have been found to actually make cancer worse and kill patients more quickly. The findings come from the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Anti-antiogenesis is the primary function behind such widely-used cancer drugs that were analyzed in the study. Researchers examined drugs such as imatanib (a leukemia drug) and sunitinib (a drug for gastrointestinal tumors), finding that these drugs may initially reduce tumor size but afterwards cause tumors to ‘metasize’ aggressively. This means that the tumors come back much stronger and grow much larger than their original size.

When study researchers induced anti-angiogenesis in mice, there was an initial 30% decrease in the volume of the tumor over 25 days. Afterwards, however, the tumors that had metastasized to the lungs tripled.

Turmeric can only absorbed to the body when there is the presence of pepper. It is used in curry so it is fine. I drink unsweetened green tea as my daily beverage. :-)

Let me share the recipe of a vege dish that involves tumeric which I cook pretty frequently

1. fry mustard seeds in oil until they begin to pop

2. add cumin seeds and fry

3. add garlic, onion and grated ginger and fry

4. add a tablespoon of tumeric and chili powder and fry

5. add chopped cabbage and fry

6. add salt to taste and serve when cabbage is soft and cooked

A simple spicy dish that i eat with rice.

one side effect turmeric has on me is that i sweat more..................maybe that's why ah nehs sweat more and stink
 
I used to hate sweating but it's actually good to sweat out the toxins from the body.

Yup it's also better to sweat exercising more but steam room also can but i think exercising is better as it builds cardiovascular endurance. Also steamrooms are quite unbearable for me.

For me if I don't go for my regular walks my legs swells up. I've been taking Essiac tea regularly & find that it improves the water retention problem but nothing beats exercise.
 
Put a teaspoon with fried fish.



That'show the Indians fry their mackeral steaks. I teaspoon of tumeric powder, half teaspoon salt, some ground pepper (or whatever pepper), a drop or of water to mix into a paste. Coat liberally on fish, season for at half an hour.

Fry and enjoy.
