Tun Dr M: I am only a Temp PM, and so is Loong!

Ya jiuhukia same can’t speak English well, especially those from Johor. But I can speak to them in mandarin so no issue. And in recent two years, I noticed those real young mudland chinese in Johor like those below age 20 students can listen and speak English. Oh your brother in law is 58 years old and speak English like primary one standard means I am correct those around 60 and below can’t speak English while those around 60 and above can. It must be due to the education policy switch by Mahathir from English to Malay medium.
What I am trying to say is in other countries like in Japan, when I visited Japan in late 1990s, I asked young people for directions and they couldn’t speak English at all. But when I went Japan two years ago, I asked young people for directions and they can speak English. That’s natural progress despite what national language of a country is, considering English as international language.

I can see this switching of education policy from English to Malay medium penalised the poor population that can only afford to go to national schools, whereas the middle class or rich is not affected as they can afford to send their children to so called international schools in mudland that used English as the medium of education. So this poor education policy has widened the difference between different social class in mudland and that’s obviously bad for a country.

Who? Tun?
I don’t know but some leader must have come up or encouraged this everything pun boleh policy for it to become accepted mudland culture. The problem is it’s not applied in a positive but negative way and the country degenerated.
