Earlier, a TRE reader forwarded us a Facebook posting by a “Luce del
Paradiso”. In the posting, “she” was observed to be throwing insults at
Singapore’s NSMen (‘Pinoy nurse insults NSmen‘):

On “her” Facebook, “she” indicated that “she” is working at the Tan Tock Seng
Hospital (TTSH) as a registered nurse.

Enquiries were then made to TTSH and TTSH has since replied on Facebook
yesterday (7 Nov). TTSH said that it is unable to locate “Luce del Paradiso” in
their HR records. TTSH said that it will review the case and take appropriate
action once her identity is established:

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We are unable to locate this
name in our HR records and have PM’d her to clarify if she is indeed our staff.
We do remind our staff to be mindful of what we say, online and in person, and
always to uphold mutual respect and sensitivity. We will review the case and
take appropriate action once her identity is established. Thank
you.

TTSH, Please make effort to locate and do not shield her because a employed
foreigner shouldn’t make such remark on our NS Men to lower their moral and
spirits who have dedicated their time, training, courage and surely dont deserve
such insults.

Why nowadays more and more foreigners behaving and speak arrogant ways to the
locals, worst to insult. Because they know jolly well, even our own govt. treat
us such and even called us Daft and Cow peh cow bu.
