I think the word Democracy represent an overly kind form of idealism which is getting more remote and unaffordable by each day past on this planet. I am realistic. Very realistic. Democracy intended to treat every human very kindly and it does so by neglecting the reality - the hard reality that fast and fatally depleting resources on the planet had already been hopelessly over-drafted by over-population of human. Planet earth can no longer afford human to survive and mess extinction is a definite result.

Democracy & Human Rights are impossible ideas, and it will be too late to learn but however the truth that these ideas and the wrongful implementations of them had caused directly and indirectly over the past century or so, the merciless mass extinction that our children would have to brutally face - inevitably. It is not obvious but very surely true because the overpopulation is a result of human treating themselves too kindly and exploiting the planet's resources to fulfil these myopic objectives.

As for now, the more we dream to pamper ourselves with these fluffy and noble ideas the more deeper we are set to quicker perish. I am too realistic to accept these ideas.

You are of course entitled to your own opinion, but if you do not subsribe to the notion that majorites rule, then what are we left with? We all die eventually. We wont know how and when it will happen. Just like when the first batch of people who started and supported the industrial revolution would not think of the pollution and environmentally-changing effects. But we learn to manage it, if at all possible. Surely, we cannot go back to being hunters and let ourselves shrink in population due to hunger/lack of food.

Silly humans does not know their limits of exploiting and ruining the planet earth, wrongly expecting for ideal unlimited resources to treat themselves so extravagantly, expecting comfort security life material wealth dignity etc etc. Still further want to preserve and safe all human lives, want to be kind to animals etc. There is only one planet, and most of it are gone already. For what is left, there is going to be a very very steep gradient for survival, it is almost going to be like swimming up Niagara Falls. Environmentalists & Re-cyclists are too late.

Soft and kind noble ideas are becoming so impractical and unrealistic. Especially when inevitable hardest brutality is surely coming ahead. Deaths will be like never before although there had been human death since day one, what is ahead is NOT the same. Your imaginations may not have reach there (yet) it will be MORE THAN EXTREME.

Since margin is to tiny, I need to state for the record that I am regretful to have called for votes for TJS instead of TCB, because that could had tipped TT. However, TCB's supportive population was not obvious enough to show up, his rally Boh Seng Lee. - Any SMC in a GE also can have that kind of size of crowd in other words something like 1/87th of his support only had shown up to show face and show support. I they had shown up, and crowd size larger than TJS, I would had voted TCB myself and called people to vote him as well.

There is a thing that is very seriously lacked here in SG, that is called gallup polling. If we had it, then it would had served it's reliable function as it does in all other countries.
