The progression has shifted from G7 to G2 and from C5 replacing G7. Proposals have included G8 (with Russia) or G9 (with Russia and China). The latest adjustment now points to G3, comprising the US, China, and Russia.
 
Might as well change the name to G-Spot. Sounds better and gives a good feel.
