Currently, we are under Military rule via the Insurrection Act. Once a sitting POTUS signs it, which Trump did, it cannot be UNDONE. Even if its an incoming different POTUS.
The MI has a set of directives that they need to finish under the Insurrection Act. The will not stop until all treason and sedition is eliminated. The MI does NOT take an oath to a POTUS, but the Constitution.
For example, in a VERY hypothetical senario. Joe is POTUS and the MI finds out that he committed treason. Under existing directives, the MI will drag his butt out of the White House and put him in front of a tribunal. Then executed, even though he is Commander n Chief.
